Anny Araba Sedufia Maame Araba Praba is a Ghanaian film producer, actress, and media professional with more than 15 years of experience in Ghana’s film and creative industries.
As the Managing Director of Oldfilm Productions, she has built an impressive career spanning multiple areas of filmmaking, including production coordination, script supervision, associate producing, film production, and distribution.
Her portfolio features some of Ghana’s most acclaimed productions, including Keteke, Sidechic Gang, Away Bus, Aloevera, TankoVilla, Party Office, One Night Guests, and Living With Uncle Smith.
With professional training in Film Directing from the National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI), Media Management from the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ), and an MBA in Project Management from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Anny combines creative excellence with strategic leadership and strong industry expertise.
A passionate advocate for authentic African storytelling, audience development, and sustainable film business models, Anny continues to champion initiatives that strengthen Ghana’s film ecosystem through greater investment, industry capacity building, and international visibility.
Her extensive experience across film production, performance, marketing, and distribution equips her with the artistic insight and practical industry knowledge needed to evaluate films with fairness, creativity, and professionalism.
