Let Them Look Down On You

Sometimes, the people who underestimate you are unknowingly preparing you for greatness.
There will be moments in life when people will look down on you.
Not because they know your ending.
But because they cannot see your becoming.
They will judge your current situation.
Your struggles.
Your failures.
Your silence.
Your slow progress.
Your small beginnings.
They will measure your worth using what they can see today, forgetting that greatness is often invisible before it arrives.
Let them.
Let them laugh when your dreams seem too big for your current reality.
Let them whisper when life pushes you into seasons of uncertainty.
Let them doubt you when your journey looks different from everyone else’s.
Because sometimes, being overlooked is protection.
Sometimes, rejection is preparation.
And sometimes, the very people who underestimate you are unknowingly building the resilience you will need for your future.
Do not be discouraged because they look down on you.
Mountains are looked down upon by airplanes, yet they still stand taller than cities.
The seed buried beneath the soil may seem forgotten, but hidden underneath pressure, it is becoming something stronger.

But even then, do not seek revenge.
Do not become bitter.
Do not rise only to prove people wrong.

And rise because sometimes, the greatest success is quietly becoming the person hardship tried to destroy.
So let them look down on you.
